The Van Nuys Neighborhood Council was excited to meet everybody at the 2026 National Night Out event in the Van Nuys Civic Center. Thank you to everybody who came out!

At a special meeting in July, the Van Nuys Neighborhood Council called for a fan zone to be designated in the Van Nuys Civic Center Plaza during the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The board voted to support the Bureau of Engineering's grant application to the statewide active transportation project for the LA Riverway Segment 7 and Community Connect project using Hazeltine Avenue to connect from the G line to the LA River.
