Van Nuys Neighborhood Council participated in the 2025 tree lighting hosted by Councilwoman Padilla December 9 at the Van Nuys Civic Center.
Van Nuys Clean Up
The Van Nuys Community Police Advisory Board and Senior Lead Officer Perez coordinated a successful clean up on Van Nuys Blvd early December.
Sherman Way Closure
There will be a full closure of the east side of Sherman Wy near Van Nuys Bl on December 15, 2025, for approximately 3 months. The work will be conducted Monday through Friday, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg Memorial Grand Opening
At the Memorial Grand Opening VNNC President Kathy Schreiner said she hoped that the accomplishments of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be an inspiration to girls and young women and asked that people also think of this as a new green space that can enliven the Van Nuys Civic Center.
