Food Resources for Students
Because schools are closed due to COVID-19, children who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals can get up to $365 in food benefits in addition to their pick up meals from school. These food benefits are called Pandemic EBT or P-EBT.
Congressional Art Competition
Congressman Cárdenas wants to invite all High School Students to participate in the 2020 Annual Congressional Art Competition. The Congressional art competition is open to all high school students who reside in the 29th congressional district. Submissions are due by May 30.

VNNC Funds Non Profits to Help Van Nuys
During the pandemic, we have been unable to meet so far, but been given the opportunity to fund organizations serving our community. VNNC has provided funds for the Mid Valley Family YMCA, Hope of the Valley & the San Fernando Rescue Mission as well as water for residents over a three week period.
