Donate a Toy at Our December Meeting
The Van Nuys Neighborhood Council invites you to bring a new unwrapped toy for newborns to age 10 worth at least $10 to our meeting on Wednesday, December 11. A toy bin will be provided at the meeting! Toys collected will helps support pediatric patients at our Van Nuys Pediatric Health Center!
Permanent Supportive Housing Approved by Planning Commission
The project will have a total of 64 units - 63 of which are Permanent Supportive Housing, with one market rate manager's unit. Construction for this project is tentatively scheduled to begin in September 2020.
LAFD 39 Now In Service
Van Nuys celebrated the opening of the new LAFD 39 station on Saturday, November 2, 2019. Everyone enjoyed a pancake breakfast and an opportunity to tour the station and view the equipment as part of the festivities.
