Volunteers Cleaning Communities organized a clean up near the Van Nuys Orange Line Station on Saturday, August 6 and Van Nuys Neighborhood Council Member Glen Makiri pitched in to help beautify our community.

The Outreach Committee and other members of the council worked together to support Nury Martinez's Movie Night at Delano Park on Friday, July 29, where they had lots of fun and games for kids provided by Summer Night Lights and hot dogs and popcorn sponsored by the VNNC.
Van Nuys Neighborhood Council was present at the Community Resource Fair hosted by the Probation Department July 27, 2022 near the Van Nuys Civic Center. VNNC Vice President Kathy Schreiner was on hand to invite civic participation in our Council.
