Utility Grant Program to Assist Low-Income Families During COVID-19
City of Los Angeles’ residents who are DWP customers making 50% Area Median Income (AMI) or lower will be eligible to receive $500 to assist with utility costs, including: gas service, cellular phone, Wi-Fi, and internet/cable services. The program will serve up to 100,000 households.
ABC Agents Will be out Enforcing Alcoholic Beverage Laws and Health Orders During Halloween
ABC agents will visit ABC licensed businesses to check on compliance with current health orders, and to reduce alcohol service to obviously intoxicated patrons and underage youth.
Central Lutheran Food Distribution Update
We are the ONLY WALK-UP Food Distribution happening consistently in our area. Many others offer drive-up pop-up's but the level of poverty in our community means most families don't have a car to bring during the day to get food.
