Please join us for the upcoming meeting of the Van Nuys Neighborhood Council Parks, Open Space, and Sustainability Committee, which will take place this Thursday, October 20th, at 7 p.m. on Zoom.
- Special Guest: Joanne D’Antonio, Chair of the Trees Committee, will discuss
some of the practical challenges to be addressed before we can initiate a tree
planting project, as well as issues related to preserving existing tree canopy. - Coordinate regarding the idea of filling vacant tree wells around Van Nuys High School.
- Research the Tree inventory to identify vacant tree wells on Sherman Way.
