Join us for the next meeting of the Van Nuys Neighborhood Council on Wednesday, November 13, 7pm at the Marvin Braude Constituent Service Center, 6262 Van Nuys Blvd.
We will discuss and possibly issue Community Impact Statements on the Vacancy Tax and Medicare for All. We invite you to share your opinion.
Also of interest is a motion to support an HHH Supportive Housing Project for 64 units to be located at 14142 W. Vanowen in a currently vacant lot. The proposed structure would be 4 stories facing Vanowen and 3 stories facing the neighbors on the south. A representative from the developer CraigLawson.com will present the project. Councilmember Krekorian is in support and we invite community members on both sides of the project to come and share your opinions.
