Please join on Saturday Oct. 22 at 11 am at the wonderful (but endangered) Sportsmen’s Lodge on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City as the Coalition to Preserve LA and several Community groups hold our very own Town Hall on over-development, gridlock and harm to our neighborhood character — and what we can do about it in the San Fernando Valley.
Our Valley Town Hall will feature every day people trying to save their neighborhoods from huge developments that tower over our residential homes and out of scale projects that destroy the character of our neighborhoods. The speakers panel will feature heroic community fighters like Richard Close, leader of the Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association, who know what it’s like to fight — and win.
Co-sponsors are the Chase Knolls Residents and Neighbors Association and the San Fernando Valley Neighborhood Coalition.
An invitation flyer is attached. RSVP is required to [email protected]. This is a FREE event. Find out about the quiet deals underway to over-develop our livable communities in the Valley, and what you can do about it.
