ORAL COMMUNICATION: Legislative Advisory Committee (LIC) to provide and forward findings, not conclusions, within the Van Nuys Neighborhood Council’s interest on legislation and legislative intent that is not on the agenda. A speaker card must be completed and presented to any committee member.
  5. COMMITTEE RESPONSE TO PUBLIC COMMENTS The committee members cannot act on items raised during public comment, but may briefly respond to statement made or questions posed, request clarification, or refer the item to staff.
