It was a beautiful and bless day at the Martin Luther King Jr parade. There was plenty of laughter, food and festivities from many different races keeping the true meaning of “We shall overcome”.
Standing on the corner of Crenshaw Blvd. just enjoying the people and music was a blessing. I never dreamed that I’ll ever have a chance to ride on a parade float but thanks to Cindy Montañez, my dream came true. Thanks again to all of the entertainers and the families that lined the streets for the parade.
