Greetings Van Nuys Council-members, Community Leaders & Stakeholders,
Election Day is this Thursday, March 20th, and we need everybody to come out and vote. If we have the greatest increase in voter turnout since the last election, the Mayor of Los Angeles will personally come and swear us in at our next council meeting.
If we succeed in this, I will request that Mayor Eric Garcetti also have a receiving line so that all of us can snap a photograph with the Honorable Mayor of Los Angeles.
This is why I need your help. Please come to the polling place this Thursday at 6262 Van Nuys Boulevard and cast your vote in the Van Nuys Council election. The polls are open from 4pm to 8pm, and anyone who lives, works, owns property, or has a vested stake in Van Nuys can vote in the election. THIS MEANS YOU!
Please come to the Civic Center in Van Nuys this Thursday to participate in democracy in action. People like you help make this an accountable and functioning representative democracy. Cheers, and once again please remember to cast your vote this Thursday at the Marvin Braude Constituent Service Center.
