At a Special Van Nuys Neighborhood Council Meeting on the 45th Earth Day, the board voted to support Alternative D in the Rim of the Valley Expansion Draft Study, and to join the Rim of the Valley Coalition to inform the public about our opportunity to link urban LA with rural LA for better hiking, wildlife corridor connectivity and habitat conservation. Public comment is open through June 30 and VNNC recommends Angelenos voice your support for Alternative D – a 313,000-acre addition. For more information visit here.
To take action, sign the Rim of the Valley Coalition’s letter of support.
