Happy New Year from Administration Services! The Administration Services Section of the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment is charged with assisting Neighborhood Councils with the review, creation, negotiation and approval of all contracts and leases. Please remember that Neighborhood Councils are not allowed to enter into contracts or agreements with anyone. The Administrative Services section is also available to assist the Neighborhood Councils with any general administration concerns, including building maintenance, building repairs, PRA Requests and temporary office help.
If you are a Neighborhood Council that is currently using Axiom Translations LLC, you must immediately stop using this company’s services as the company has ceased to operate under the Axiom name and, therefore, the contract with Axiom may no longer exist. The Department is currently working with the City Attorney’s Office to clarify whether the Department and Neighborhood Councils will be able to retain the services of the new company, Key Translations.
Please work with your Funding Liaison to pay any and all outstanding Axiom invoices as soon as possible, as this option to pay for services provided by Axiom may not be available much longer.
