Dear Friend,
This weekend, as our family and friends join together to celebrate the end of summer, please take a moment to honor all the men and women in our labor force.
Your hard work is the backbone of our economy and country.
Let us also remember the sacrifice and determination of our nation’s labor unions. The men and women of organized labor fought to ban child labor, ensure safe working conditions, create a minimum wage, health insurance, paid leave, pensions, and the weekend – all while building the largest middle class in world history.
Thank you all for allowing me the opportunity to serve. I will continue to fight for the working families of the 46th Assembly District.
