The Van Nuys Neighborhood Council will meet on Wednesday, December 13, 7pm at the Marvin Braude Constituent Building Conference Room, 6262 Van Nuys Blvd.
On our agenda:
- There will be two presentations from Metro. One is about the upcoming construction of improvements to the G Line (Orange Line). The other is about a “First/Last Mile” Plan for the Sepulveda station on the Orange line that will identify pedestrian-focused and wheel-mode-focused (bicycle, scooter, skateboard, etc.) projects that improve access to the station.
- Consider submitting a Community Impact statement (CIS) opposing the City of LA’s Housing Element’s proposed rezoning and densification of R1 and multi-family neighborhoods.
- Consider submitting Community Impact Statements to support two motions by Councilmember Imelda Padilla that would require more community engagement and detailed planning regarding the Van Nuys Airport.
