Check out the upcoming classes and sports that will be offered at the Van Nuys Recreation Center in the fall. Registration for the After-School Program starts on July 25th. Registration for Soccer begins on August 6th. Registration for classes begins on August 15th. The teams and classes will cost $10 per child (subsidized with funding from the Olympics under PlayLA).
Of special note is that there will be soccer teams for girls only This reflects Rec & Parks commitment to equity and increasing opportunities for girls under the brand “Girls Play LA.”
