Greetings My Fellow Citizens of Van Nuys,
A couple of things on this warm Monday evening. First, the Van Nuys Neighborhood Council is having our General Meeting this coming Wednesday night. We are starting promptly at 7:00pm and hope to be done by 10:00pm. Please remember each stakeholder, constituent and Councilmember alike is only allowed 10 minutes to speak throughout the entire Council Meeting.
Secondly, the “Child & Sex Trafficking Summit” is coming along nicely, and we are planning on having a couple of brainstorming sessions before July 30th. If you are interested in helping organize this summit, please email Public Safety Chairman Josef Lazarovitz at [email protected].
And finally, the Van Nuys Neighborhood Council is co-hosting a “Health Fair” in October with Councilwoman Nury Martinez, and we would love suggestions and input as we start the process. Cheers, and have a wonderful week.
