At the VNNC Board Meeting on January 14th, Councilwoman Imelda Padilla (CD 6) presented an update about her work on behalf of Van Nuys in the City Council and answered questions from Board members and the public. Topics that were discussed included public safety, keeping Van Nuys Blvd cleaned up, need for more parks, and concerns from people who volunteer at the East Valley Animal Shelter. The Van Nuys Neighborhood Council is grateful to partner with her for the improvement of Van Nuys.
