It was a powerful open house and community conversation about the future of one of the Valley’s most vital corridors: Van Nuys Boulevard.
With major projects like the East San Fernando Valley Light Rail on the horizon, this was a chance for residents to shape the vision of their boulevard — a vision rooted in affordable housing, safer streets, thriving local businesses, and public spaces that feel like home.
We were proud to bring together the very agencies leading the change — including Metro, LA City Planning, New Economics for Women, ICON CDC, Grapevine, The Valley Economic Alliance, San Fernando Transit Constructors, and Primestor — so that stakeholders could ask questions directly and offer input in real time.
