The Sepulveda Bl (Line 234) Bus Lanes Project will add a full-time bus lane along the 5.5-mile segment of Sepulveda Bl from Ventura Bl to Rayen St, and a peak hour bus lane along the 0.9-mile segment on westbound Ventura Bl from Vesper Av to Sepulveda Bl.

The rightmost traffic lane in each direction along Sepulveda Bl between Magnolia Bl and Rayen St, and the rightmost traffic lane on northbound Sepulveda Bl between Ventura Bl and Magnolia Bl will be converted into full-time bus lanes. Bus lanes will be in service full time along Sepulveda Bl and 7-9am weekdays only along westbound Ventura Bl. 60 underutilized parking spaces along northbound Sepulveda Bl between Raymer St and Lanark St will serve as a full-time bus lane.

Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) will conduct striping removals and restripe the rightmost travel lanes on Sepulveda Bl and the curbside lane on westbound Ventura Bl, replace existing signage with new bus lane signage, and install pavement markings for new bus lanes on Sepulveda Bl from Ventura Bl to Rayen St and westbound Ventura Bl from Vesper Av to Sepulveda Bl. *The work will begin in October and continue through November, Monday through Saturday from 12 midnight to 1pm.
