At our November 10, 2011 Van Nuys Neighborhood Council Meeting, we heard the recommendation from the VNNC Planning and Land Use Committee to approve two projects and voted to approve them:

54-unit mixed use apartment. 7541 Sepulveda Blvd. (Shown above) Case# (none yet). 4-story, 54-unit mix used apartment building. 3 units to set aside for affordable (3 VL, 17% bonus density @ 5% VL). 3 on menu density bonus incentives requested – VNNC PLUM Committee Approved. 33-Unit Apartment Building w/ ADU-14805-14817 Erwin Street. (shown above) Case# DIR-2021-6728-TOC. Request to allow the demolition of residential buildings and to build a 33-unit apartment building and (1) accessory dwelling unit (ADU), 5-stories in total. Utilizing TOC to increase units and to request 2 additional incentives – increase in height & side-yard setback reduction – VNNC PLUM Committee Approved. See the project documents:

The VNNC also voted to approve a Neighborhood Purposes Grant, which will require further work with the City to fund:
