Chairwoman, Maria Skelton, attended a meeting at City Hall on Saturday, October 8th, for Mayor Garcetti’s Youth Council. Skelton found it truly amazing to see so many young people interested in their future. She felt that Ana Guerrero and Brian Gavidia delivered a great message to both the youth and their parents.
Skelton also enjoyed the Crenshaw High School Homecoming. The highlight of the night was Mr. Tarver and the band. If you ever get a chance to watch a band, Skelton highly recommends that you go to Crenshaw High School to enjoy the safe and friendly atmosphere and the awesome music from the band. Skelton thought it was great to see people of all ages having fun and enjoying the night.
