There are four United States Service Academies that require Congressional Nominations for consideration for a Service Academy appointment: the United States Military Academy, United States Naval Academy, United States Air Force Academy, and the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Each member of Congress is able to make 10 nominations and the Vice President is able to make 5 nominations.
Congressman Tony Cardenas has the honor of nominating eligible applicants for consideration for an appointment at a United States Service Academy. The mission of the U.S. service academy is to provide instruction and experience to all cadets so that they graduate with the knowledge and character essential to leadership and the motivation to become career officers in the U.S. military.
This is a great opportunity for students to attend one of the top colleges in our nation.
