40 Hour Full Closure of 101 Freeway
The City of Los Angeles, Bureau of Engineering, has announced that a portion of US 101 will be closed for 40 hours this weekend, February 5-7th, to enable safe demolition of a section of the Sixth Street Viaduct, located over the freeway. The bridge closed to all traffic on January 27th as part of the $449 million Sixth Street Viaduct Replacement Project. Plan ahead, expect delays and use alternate routes.
