Greetings My Fellow Citizens,
This coming Wednesday the Van Nuys Neighborhood Council is hosting a “Holiday Food & Toy Drive” for our constituents in the San Fernando Valley. Please bring an unwrapped toy or nonperishable food item to our meeting on Wednesday night.
Secondly, we are also honoring former Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky by renaming the Erwin Street Mall after him, and the ceremony will take place at our General Meeting next week.
And we are beginning to undertake the very ambitious notion of creating a “Business Improvement District” (BID) along Van Nuys Boulevard from Sherman Oaks through Van Nuys all the way up to Pacoima. (The entire length of Van Nuys Boulevard, including Panorama City & Arleta as well.) If you would like to get involved and help create this BID, please let me know. Cheers.
