TVFS Awarded First Federal Grant
The Village Family Services is proud to announce that it was recently awarded its first federal grant. The agency was one of five organizations in California to receive funding from the Street Outreach Program over a period of three years. The funds come from the Family & Youth Services Bureau to support work with homeless, runaway and street youth to help them find stable housing and services.
Register now for the Village Run/Walk! On Saturday, October 31, The Village Family Services and Valley Village will be partnering once again to host the Village Run/Walk 5K and Family Festival! Wear your Halloween costume to this race that will follow the Orange Line to Los Angeles Valley College for a fun festival perfect for the entire family!
A huge thank you goes out to the staff at the Wells Fargo branch in Reseda. Recently, the branch awarded The Village Family Services with a $1,000 grant at the Wells Fargo San Fernando Valley Community Connection Breakfast. In addition, they showed generous support for our Drop-In Center with a donation of canned food, and the staff raised $600 for the Village Run/Walk. Thank you very much!
