Greetings Fellow Citizens,
The Van Nuys Neighborhood Council has the great honor to invite you to the very first Van Nuys Neighborhood Council Education Summit. This summit is just one of our many “Distinguished Speaker Series” we have thrown so far with the Van Nuys community and surrounding areas. This Summit will also be the official kick-off event for the newly established VNNC Education Committee that will meet monthly to address issues, needs and foster an ongoing dialogue between elected officials, teachers, parents, students and the businesses that support us.
Attached is the first flyer (to be updated further along) for the Van Nuys Neighborhood Council Education Summit. We will keep you updated as we go along and we get all the speakers confirmed and the agenda set in stone.
The event is set to take place on October 21st on a Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. and it will be at 6262 Van Nuys Blvd. in Van Nuys.
