2015/2016 Budget Survey
Fellow Angelenos:
The Mayor of the City of Los Angeles is given the responsibility by the City Charter to develop a budget plan that must be presented for City Council consideration by April 20th of each year.
Now is the time for Neighborhood Councils to speak up on the priorities for their communities and the most significant opportunity to get feedback from your stakeholders is the Budget Survey which is available here.
As the Mayor’s Budget Team begins developing the budget blueprint that addresses the needs of the City’s diverse communities, reflects shared priorities, and moves the City toward important goals, the survey results will help steer that process.
Please share your thoughts on how we should create a balanced budget that addresses City priorities and remains fiscally responsible.
And…most importantly, please get this survey to your stakeholders so that you can get their feedback also.
