NORTH HOLLYWOOD – It’s lights, camera and action for the North Hollywood International Film Festival, as it debuts its summer movies series and gears ups for its inaugural festival in Spring 2016.
Founded by industry veterans Nicholas and Hortencia Goodman, the NHIFF hopes to launch a platform for international and North American films and to support emerging filmmakers in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. It will be a film festival for filmmakers by filmmakers.
The festival’s mission is to provide an expertly programmed event that becomes a destination for film buffs. Festival Director Terrell Sandefur, who is behind the success of Georgia’s Macon Film Festival, partnered with the new festival to build an engaging event for Los Angeles and is working with local organizations to set roots in the community.
