NCSA Gearing Up for Second Workshop Focused on Save the Drop Campaign

Following on the heels of Mayor Garcetti’s announcement of the Sustainable City Plan for Los Angeles, the Neighborhood Council Sustainability Alliance will engage community members in the conversation on water conservation by focusing its second public workshop on the newly launched Save the Drop campaign, which addresses the Sustainable City Plan’s water component and the historic drought. With the Mayor’s executive directive on water conservation creating strong tools to reduce water use, including a $3.75 per square foot rebate for lawn replacement, Mayor Garcetti is now taking the necessary next step to connect Angelenos with those tools through an unprecedented outreach effort.

The workshop will take place at TreePeople’s headquarters in Coldwater Canyon and will feature an overview of the Save the Drop campaign and a conversation with stakeholders on drought response outreach strategies.

Date: Saturday, May 16, 2015
Time: 1:30pm – 4:00pm
