The Van Nuys Neighborhood Council Is Partnering With U.S. Representatives Tony Cardenas & Luis Gutierrez On An Immigration Workshop This Saturday
PANORAMA CITY, CA — This coming Saturday, March 21st starting at 1pm, the Van Nuys Neighborhood Council will be co-hosting an “Immigration Workshop” at Panorama High School with U.S. Representatives Tony Cardenas & Luis Gutierrez.
“Thanks to President Obama, hard-working immigrants brought here as children and parents of U.S. Citizens have the opportunity to stay in this country. Congressman Luis Gutiérrez will join me in the Valley on Saturday March 21, to help immigrants learn if they are eligible to stay in the U.S. We will also have “family defenders” at the workshop, to help immigrants apply for help. If you are here without documentation, or you know someone who is, please RSVP to this event at [email protected],” said Congressman Tony Cardenas.
Rep. Luis Gutierrez is touring the country to educate immigrants about the President’s executive actions on immigration and provide more information about the expansion of the successful DACA program and the new DAPA program for parents of U.S. citizen and legal permanent resident children.
