CIS: Pacoima NC Supports Raise the Wage

Dear Honorable Members,

The Pacoima Neighborhood Council requests that the following Community Impact Statement
be added to Council File 14-1371, regarding the City Council’s effort to increase the minimum
wage.

COMMUNITY IMPACT STATEMENT

The Pacoima Neighborhood Council supports the City Council’s effort to increase the minimum
wage, to create comprehensive enforcement, and earned sick days.

This Community Impact Statement is based on the action taken at the regularly scheduled Board
meeting on 3-18-15, when the Pacoima Neighborhood Council adopted the following motion by
a vote of 3-18-15, and directed that a Community Impact Statement be filed reflecting its
position.

Motion: “The Pacoima Neighborhood Council supports the City Council’s effort to
increase the minimum wage and to include enforcement and sick days.”
