Are you ready to join the largest march for climate change in California history? On Saturday, February 7, Californians from across the state will come together on the streets of Oakland for the March for REAL Climate Leadership — a rally and teach-in to strengthen the climate justice movement in the Golden State, and to make sure Gov. Brown knows that to be a REAL leader on climate, he must ban fracking now! We’ll take you round-trip to Governor Brown’s neighborhood in Oakland to join thousands of other Californians demanding an end to extreme forms of oil extraction (like fracking), refinery expansion and the rest of Big Oil’s toxic techniques. After the march, we will come together for a teach-in to focus on regional battles with Big Oil, and explore how we can grow the movement in 2015.
