The Floodplain Management Plan Open House is taking place Tuesday, December 9th from 1pm to 4:30pm.
The purpose of the FMP update is to complete the required steps to receive classification under the National Flood Insurance Program’s Community Rating System (CRS). The target audience for this meeting will be those citizens that live within regulated floodplains.
Attendees will be able to learn about resources, find out if their property falls within a floodplain area, and get information about how to plan and prepare should a flood occur.
