Join Mayor Eric Garcetti and Mayor’s Volunteer Corps Members to plant trees, remove graffiti, and fulfill other community enrichment activities to help beautify Cesar Chavez Avenue on Saturday, October 25. City Plants will be giving away free shade and fruit trees to members of the community who participate.

The Mayor’s Volunteer Corps connects people with meaningful volunteer opportunities that support Mayor Garcetti’s objectives to revitalize Los Angeles, strengthen neighborhoods, improve the workforce, and inspire civic pride in all Angelenos — resulting in real, measurable, long-term change for the residents of Los Angeles. The Corps provides opportunities in one of five Specialty Corps: Education Corps, Family Corps, Workforce and Economic Corps, Neighborhood Corps, and Veteran Corps.
