LA Sanitation teams up with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services Toy Loan Program for a Toy Reuse Drive in select City locations in honor of Second Chance Week.
Come learn more about the County’s Toy Loan Program at the October 16 kickoff event taking place at the Farmers Market next to Los Angeles City Hall. We will be giving out information and free reusable bags.
The County Toy Loan Program serves more than 30,000 children annually, targeting low-income
communities where children often lack access to basic skill-building toys, an essential part of a child’s development. The refurbishment & reuse of toys diverts them from landfills and helps the City move toward Zero Waste.
