INTERNATIONAL CAR-FREE DAY
GO CAR-FREE THIS SUNDAY AND BE PART OF A WORLD-WIDE MOVEMENT TO REDUCE CONGESTION AND CREATE A GREENER ENVIRONMENT.
IN CELEBRATION, JOIN US FOR A FAMILY-FRIENDLY BIKE RIDE (hosted by the LA County Bike Coalition):
Time: 10:00 A.M.
Place: Orange Line Bus Station at 6060 Van Nuys Blvd.
Ride Description: A 10-mile ride along the Orange Line Bike Path from Van Nuys Blvd. to Balboa Park. We’ll take a loop around the park, stop at the R/C airplanes and miniature airport. The ride will finish at MacLeod’s Ale Brewing Company, the first microbrewery in the San Fernando Valley. We’ll get a tour of the Brewery, and LA County Bike Coalition members showing their membership card get 15% off drinks and merchandise.
(Those under 21 are allowed on the premises and the tour, but of course can’t purchase alcohol.)
