The Plaza Firehouse is celebrating 130 years on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 10 am to 3 pm at El Pueblo Historic Monument.
Events:
- Historic rigs and fire apparatuses
- Arts & crafts tables
- Living history performances at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the Pico House
- Rarely seen photos & artifacts on display
- All events are free and open to the public
Spend the day celebrating the 130th anniversary of the Plaza Firehouse, LAFD’s first station, built in 1884.
