Please join me this Wednesday at 6:30pm for the first Special Committee Meeting regarding the proposed ordinance to legalize street vending in the city of Los Angeles. We welcome your comments and suggestions as we explore the pros and cons of motion CF13-1493. The meeting will be held at 6262 Van Nuys Blvd in the room adjacent to our council chambers in the Marvin Braude building.

Discuss the pending City Council motion (CF 13-1493), which would permitthe sale of food and merchandise by street vendors on City sidewalks and parkways within the city of Los Angeles and develop a consensus of opinion to refer to the full Van Nuys Neighborhood Council for an issuance of a community impact statement to the Los Angeles City Council.
