Greetings Van Nuys Stakeholders,

Van Nuys Neighborhood Council Planning and Land Use Management Committee will its meeting tomorrow, June 17 at the Van Nuys Community Police Station in the Community Room. The address is 6240 Sylmar Ave. Parking is available after 6:00 pm on Sylvan Street on the parking meters. Please be aware if you are parking on the Van Nuys Library parking lot, the lot will close and lock the gates at 9:00 pm. Below is PLUM Committee Meeting agenda for June:

  • A. 5628 N Sepulveda Blvd.: Zone Variance, Conditional Use Permit, Site Plan Review. Requesting for a conditional use permit to allow the expansion of the existing 4-story 56 ft. high hotel with a new construction of a 48,000 SF 78 room hotel within 500 ft of a residential zone and request for additional FAR & height.   • B. 6939 Van Nuys Blvd.: Zone Variance, Conditional Use Permit, Site Plan Review. Requesting for a conditional use permit and zone variance for an addition to the existing 10,000 sq ft Adult day center and banquet hall by adding 4500 sq ft and converting its use to full banquet hall and restaurant in a P2 zone (parking), currently in construction for the remodeling of the existing building with permits.
