RE: Extending Water LA Program to all of Los AngelesDear Mayor Garcetti
The XXXX Neighborhood Council believes that water is of paramount importance to the City of Los Angeles. We support the Mayor’s goal of cutting imported supplies in half by 2025 and would like to be active participants but believe there may be a lack of consistent guidance, reliable incentives, resources and support.
The Water LA program has been providing these tools to Panorama City and Studio City, and we request that your office do what it can to extend the Water LA program to other communities in Los Angeles.
Very truly yours,
XXXX Neighborhood Council

From Glenn Bailey:
To Neighborhood Council Board Members:
Please note that the pending City Council motion (CF 13-1493), which would permit the sale of food and merchandise by street vendors on City sidewalks and parkways, is included on the agenda (attached) for tomorrow’s Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Coalition (LANCC) monthly meeting. Some NCs have taken a position on this proposal but most have not (original motion is attached).
You are invited to participate in LANCC’s consideration of this issue as well as hear our other guest speakers and presentations:
Saturday, June 7, 2014, 10 a.m.
Hollywood City Hall
6501 Fountain Avenue, Hollywood 90028
(The LANCC meeting is preceded by the DWP Advocacy Committee which meets at the same location beginning at 8:45 a.m.)
Thank you for your service.
