Greetings Good People of Van Nuys,
A couple of things on this fine Tuesday morning. First, the Van Nuys Neighborhood Council’s Outreach Committee is having a meeting tonight and the agenda is quite ambitious. Chairwoman Skelton is planning a 5k run in Van Nuys, as well as a celebrity golf tournament, so please stop by and voice your concerns and questions.
Second, the “Special Committee on Street Vending” is having a “Special Meeting” tomorrow night at 6262 Van Nuys Blvd. Our Vice President Howard Benjamin will be chairing this committee, and this will be another opportunity to weigh in and have your opinion heard.
And finally, the Van Nuys Neighborhood Council is looking into hosting a “Health Fair” in October, and we would love suggestions and input as we start the process. Cheers, and have a wonderful week.
