WebHeaderDepartment_of_City_PlanningIn 2011, the City of Los Angeles adopted the 2010 Bicycle Plan to increase and enhance bicycling in the City as a viable safe, healthy, and enjoyable means of transportation. Every year, the Department of Transportation (LADOT), in partnership with the Department of City Planning (DCP), selects 40 miles of corridors that have high potential to expand the City’s bikeway network. A preview of the corridors selected for this year, in addition to an overview of the public participation process, are included in the attached handout.

In order to help answer general questions about Bicycle Plan implementation process, the City of Los Angeles – DCP and LADOT will host an online “Bike Plan Primer” on April 17, 2014; from 7 PM to 8 PM.
