WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16 SHERMAN OAKS HOMEOWNERS’ ASSN 13645 Riverside Drive 6:15 pm Social Hour 7:15 pm dinner (optional: $5 mbrs/$7 non-mbrs) Our meeting on Wednesday (April 16) will focus on the election (June 3) for Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. Our Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky will be retiring. At the Meeting there will be a Debate between two of the candidates. Former State Senator Sheila Kuehl and former Santa Monica City Councilman Bobby Shriver. The Moderator will be Political Reporter Dave Bryan from KCBS Channel 2 and KCAL Channel 9. The District has over 2 million residents. The biggest concentration of voters is in the San Fernando Valley. Learn which of these two candidates will do the most to increase your quality of life e.g. traffic, rapid transit, etc. In addition Congressman Brad Sherman who represents Sherman Oaks in Washington will make a brief appearance at the beginning of the Meeting. He will give us an update and you can discuss with him concerns you may have. The Meeting will be held at Notre Dame High School located at 13645 Riverside Drive, Sherman Oaks. Parking is available in the main lot on Woodman Avenue as well as parking lots on Riverside Drive and Huston Street. Jules Feir announces that Whole Foods will be the Restaurant of the Month.
