Citizenship-704x318Did you know the Los Angeles Public Library holds citizenship classes and naturalization assistance workshops? If you require assistance in learning about what is required to apply for U.S. citizenship, practicing your knowledge of English or American history for the citizenship test, or putting together the necessary documents, you can attend one of the many FREE multi-lingual workshops hosted by the LA libraries.

The citizenship and fee waiver assistance workshops require advance registration and provide free in-depth assistance with naturalization applications, application review by an immigration attorney, step-by-step review of naturalization process, and application & document packaging, with assistance provided in both English and Spanish. Upcoming workshops will take place April 5, April 12, and April 19 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Central Library. Registration is required.

Citizenship test workshops are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30pm to 2:00pm at the Chinatown library branch. English language preparation workshops are held every Tuesday from 1:30pm-2:30pm at the Little Tokyo branch. Stop by to practice talking about everyday matters and learn some grammar along the way!
