zzLogo2013-06This workshop will provide an overview of the Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO) provisions on tenant evictions. The RSO’s requirements for evictions for owner, eligible family, and resident manager occupancy; compliance with a government agency’s order; illegal drug activity; gang related crime and nuisance; and for the withdrawal of rental units from the rental market will be explained.

Along with the applications and supporting documentation requirements, the relocation assistance fees required for each of the above mentioned evictions will be reviewed.

Please note that the workshop will not cover the unlawful detainer process or eviction procedures for properties which are not under the RSO.

The workshops will be presented by the Los Angeles Housing and Community Investment Department’s (HCIDLA) Rent Stabilization Division staff.
