Throughout the April, May, and June, you’ll have a chance to drop off your used car or light truck tires at one of six recycling events with the Bureau of Sanitation. Bring up to 9 tires per person per trip, off the rim, to the recycling site. Remember to take along some proof of Los Angeles residency, such as a California Driver’s License or a DWP bill.
The Bureau of Sanitation will do the work for you and see that your tires are put to good use! You can unload those used tires you’ve been meaning to get rid of, but never managed to get around to.
