Van Nuys Branch Library
Our local Van Nuys Library Branch manager and Senior Librarian Kelly Tyler is interested in launching a Good Government Book Club for workers in the Van Nuys Government Center. The book club will meet every other month to discuss books selected to offer value to public servants on a wide range of topics. Membership will be open to anyone working in the Van Nuys Government Center at any level from agency manager to front-line staff.

The Van Nuys Branch in conjunction with our Friends of the Library will support the program by providing space, discussion leadership, book suggestions, and light refreshments.

I would like to start with a brief organizational meeting to select a regular meeting time, discuss recruitment, and pick an initial title on Wednesday, April 2 at 4:30 p.m.
