The next VNNC Planning and Land Use Committee meeting will take place next Tuesday (Feb. 18) from 6:30pm to 9:30 pm at the Van Nuys Community Police Station, 6240 Sylmar Avenue — Van Nuys, CA 91401 — (818) 374-9500. The PLUM Committee encourages stakeholders in our community to come, listen and engage on land use, zoning, development, variances & design issues in the Van Nuys area. Also to voice your concerns and impacts in a public forum.

Raymer Street Pedestrian Bridge – Restore the pedestrian bridge – Located on Raymer Street and near Kester Ave. that crosses over train line between Van Nuys and Panorama City, the pedestrian bridge is in need of repairs, clean up, maintenance and graffiti tagging removal. Provide coordination with General Services, City Councilwoman Martinez office staff and neighboring Panorama City Neighborhood Council.
