Greetings Van Nuys Council-members, Stakeholders & Community Leaders,
I wanted to drop you a brief note and let you know about a couple of things going on in Van Nuys and throughout the Valley.
First and foremost, we are having an election on Thursday, March 20th and we need as much participation as possible from all our friends and neighbors.
I am attaching the Vote By Mail (VBM) application, and please feel free to print it out and mail it in to our city government representatives. You can also drop the completed application off to Glen Bailey or Alisa Smith at the Van Nuys City Hall. Please have the VBM application in by March 12th at 5pm. (This is very important, the ballot application needs to be in by 5pm, not postmarked by then.)
Secondly, we are having our Executive Committee Meeting next Monday at 6:30pm in our Council Chambers’ adjacent multi-purpose room. If you have any items for the Agenda, please email me at [email protected] or just come to the meeting next Monday night.
And finally, we have a great opportunity to host a “Concert at the Civic Center” and 4th of July Celebration this year. I look forward to exploring the possibilities of working with Councilwoman Nury Martinez and our other elected officials to plan and host a great American party this coming Friday, July 4th, 2014.
